MacBook Air Updated, Now Cheaper, FreedomPop Offers iPhone 5 + Free Service
0MacBook Air laptops may not be the most powerful machines around, but they are quite elegant. The line-up has just gotten a tad bit better. Apple has quietly given its thin MacBooks a CPU upgrade. All entry models now boast a 1.4 GHz dual core Intel Core i5 processor. You still get 4 GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics 5000, and PCI-e based flash storage.
While we can’t identify any other major change, it is notable that you can get these MacBooks for $100 less. You can use that money to upgrade your device to 8 GB of RAM. All models still ship within 24 hours.
Speaking of good deals, FreedomPop is now offering Apple devices with its low cost plans. You can get a refurbished iPhone 5 for $349, which will include 200 voice minutes, 500 text messages, and 500 megabytes of data per month. That’s just the free plan. Paid plans are pretty affordable too — especially if you go with an annual plan. It’s just too sad that FreedomPop is not carrying the latest Apple technology at this point.
