The iPad mini 2 with Retina display is already out. Reviews of the device are showing up on the Internet already. It is no secret that the new iPad mini has an A7 processor inside. That does not necessarily mean that the device is as fast as the iPad Air. According to Geekbench, the new iPad mini has a 1.3 GHz A7 processor inside. It is slightly slower than the iPad Air’s processor but offers significant improvement over the previous model.
The original iPad mini is 5 times slower than this device, which makes us question Apple’s decision to continue selling it for just under $300. The iPad Air may be faster but Apple is going to sell a ton of iPad mini devices this year.
Speaking of Apple products, many of us are interested to know what other products the company is working on. We have already heard rumors about the iWatch, Mac tablet/laptop hybrids, iGlasses, and iTVs. Martin Hajek has designed a wonderful iTV concept that show what an Apple TV could look like. This concept has a curved display and borrows some elements from the iMac. There is no guarantee Apple will go with a design similar to this. We have to wait a couple of years to find out, anyway.
