iPad Mini Display vs. iPad Air Display, iPhone Upcycling
0The new iPad mini is quite a fun device to play around with. It has a beautiful display and a very fast processor inside. The device is not without issues though. Some folks have complained about display issues on their device in the past few days. The device may not offer as many colors as the iPad Air. That’s according to AnandTech. It seems iPad Air’s color gamut is wider than that of the iPad Mini 2. That’s not all. The iPad mini falls short in this area against Nexus 7 and Note.
This won’t be a huge deal for most of us. The iPad mini 2 is not broken and still works just fine. Photographers, painters, and other artists may want to consider the iPad Air over the iPad Mini. The rest of us will probably be just fine with what the new Retina iPad mini offers.
Speaking of Apple products, they don’t last you forever. Sooner or later, you are going to have to say goodbye to your old or broken iPhone. Why not upcycle it to create useful household goods? Twice Used is a project that aims to make your broken iPhone useful again. Twice Used’s goods are made of iPhone glass and other parts (see examples above). These guys get to eliminate hazardous electronic waste in the process. Twice Used items are on Kickstarter at this time.
