iPhone 5 Rumors: Release Date, Stolen Case, …
0By now, it should be a no secret that Apple has a big event planned for October 4th. iPhone fans have been waiting for months to get their hands on the next generation iPhone. This is the first time that a new iPhone will be launched without Steve Jobs as Apple CEO. The device is expected to be pretty impressive regardless. iPhone 5 is expected to have a dual core A5 processor and improved graphics capabilities. A higher resolution rear camera (8 MP) is also rumored for iPhone 5.
Not surprisingly, iPhone 5 will have more RAM than its predecessors (1 GHz at least). Of course, it will ship with iOS 5, which has gone through major changes. Some analysts believe native voice recognition will be available on the device. Unlike previous iPhones, shoppers will most likely have multiple options when it comes to choosing a carrier for their device (it does seem T-Mobile won’t be getting the phone).
We have all been wondering about the next generation iPhone’s design and its looks. Multiple reports suggest that Apple has lost multiple iPhone 5 prototypes recently (one was left at a bar, another missing from factory). From the cases we have seen, the phone seems wider and longer.
Apple will announce its new gadget on October 4th. But you won’t be able to get it immediately. A “reliable source” has told TNW that the phone will be up for grabs on October 14th (with iOS 5 making its debut 2 days earlier). Considering that Apple seems to be restricting vacation days for that week, this rumor seems to make sense.
Do you plan to upgrade to iPhone 5?
