The iPad and MacBook laptops are powerful products. But they serve different purposes for consumers. We have heard rumors about Apple planning hybrid MacBooks to marry these two product lines in the past. That could indeed be a formidable device. A designer has come up with a concept that shows what such a device could look like.
The MacBook Touch seems to show the fusion of an iPad with a MacBook. The laptop part works for people who still need a keyboard to get things done on their computing devices. This also functions as a tablet when the screen is flipped back all the way. This design portrays a shiny, hybrid device. But we are not likely to see anything like this in the future.
Apple may well release a MacBook Touch in the future. But it won’t be a hybrid device with a rotating screen such as the one the MacBook Touch concept shows. Whatever Apple designs will most likely be more user friendly. Of course, if Apple did release a MacBook Touch like the one described above, there is a good chance many folks will buy it without hesitation.
