As we get closer to the release date of iPhone 5, we are going to hear new rumors every day. The latest rumor suggests that iPhone 5 will have a larger screen and a thinner profile. This is not a new rumor by any means as we have heard and reported on this story a bunch of times. Leaked pictures of an iPhone 5 case suggests this is most likely true (published by 9to5Mac).

Considering that Apple products seem to get thinner in every new generation, this rumor is easy to swallow. The above picture shows a case for an iPhone 5 prototype used in Asia. There is always a chance that this design is not the final one. The good news is we won’t have to wait a whole lot to find out. The Chinese Times suggests that 400,000 test units may have been already sent to Apple ahead iPhone 5’s launch, which will be between Sept. 6 to Sept. 15.

Researchers Create Transparent Lithium-Ion Battery

Going through old iPhone rumors is entertaining. But knowing what technology has in store for us in the future is more exciting. Some scientists are already working on transparent batteries. Could we see invisible iPhones next? Now that is a novel idea.
