Walmart Offering iPhone 5C Discount, Apple Accepting Pre-orders Now

The iPhone 5C is not going to ship today but you can still pre-order it on Apple and other sites and get your phone in the mail starting September 20th. We are not sure how huge the demand for the iPhone 5C will be. But Apple did have some issues accepting pre-orders early on. The store is now up and running. We are going to know more about the iPhone brand once the new iPhone 5S hits the market in a few days.
Apple.com is not the only place you can get your iPhone 5C though. In fact, Walmart is planning to offer iPhone 5C units for as low as $79. The 16 GB iPhone 5S will be available for $189. Saving $10 or $20 on an iPhone with a 2 year contract may not seem like much but it could give more people an incentive to visit their Walmart store soon.
Walmart will be offering unlocked iPhones. Older iPhones are being discounted too. The iPhone 5 and iPhone 4 are available for $549 and $349 without a contract.
